Spiezle Announces its Receipt of the 2012 AIA NJ Firm of the Year Award

Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of the 2012 New Jersey AIA Firm of the Year Award.

The award recognizes the New Jersey firm who best exemplifies its major accomplishments in the field of architecture and has distinguished themselves among their peers.  The award is based on professional, community and technical accomplishments. Formal presentation of the award will take place on January 2, 2013 at a Chapter awards ceremony.

Spiezle’s employee owners proudly support the AIA, including serving in leadership and education-provider roles in several Chapters. Its team members supported numerous community charities, including local chapters of national charities, affiliated not-for-profit groups of colleges/universities, and K-12 club activities.  Several team members serve on boards of directors of local charitable organizations, educational institutions, and governmental entities.  Lastly, the firm’s technical accomplishments in 2012 range from the Historic Preservation Award for the Burlington County College Culinary Arts Facility and its fully integrated sustainable design practice that resulted in three LEED Gold Certifications, as well as projects with more than 40 MW of solar and carbon neutrality action plans affecting more than 5 million GSF of space in New Jersey alone.
